Fresh fruits especially water melon taste from simple to sublime when soaked in a refreshing ginger syrup infused with fresh mint. Cutting the melons in large cubes enhances their big, juicy flavor. You can also stick to only one kind fruit.
800 g assorted fruits, cubed and chilled (water melon, honey dew, grapefruit segments, grapes, etc)
TO MAKE THE MINT GINGER SYRUP
150 g Devagi Ginger Blaze Syrup
10 mint leaves, finely chopped
Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
- Place the fruits in a serving bowl or individual serving bowl.
- Combine the ingredients for the Mint Ginger Syrup in a small jug. Leave aside for 20 minutes for the flavour to become intense.
- Pour desired amount of the prepared syrup over the fruits before serving.
